Name of programme : "Keep Moving Forward!" Campaign
Objectives :
1) Change behaviour to become a better person.
2) Encourage people study more to gain more knowledge .
3) Study and work hard to achieve our goals.
Slogan : Life is like riding a bicycle, to keep your balance, you must keep moving forward.
Target group : 7-17 years old student.
Implementation measure: Organise once a year. Offers in primary school and secondary school. Competitions will be held such as spelling bee, story-telling competition, essay writing competition, public-speaking competition and more.

Functions of Ministry of Education
The Ministry’s role of effectively managing the education system is
accomplished through the execution of functions carried out by its
divisions and agencies. Among these functions are:
- Planning, developing, and implementing educational policies and programmes
- Monitoring and evaluating the performance of locally and internationally funded projects and programmes
- Maintaining an efficient system of collecting, collating, analyzing and presenting current and accurate data on quantifiable educational indicators to meet local demand and international standards
- Developing and supporting programmes, services and activities geared towards personal and national development
- Providing guidance in financial management for all educational institutions and affiliated agencies.
- Initiate and formulate policy options on Education for the consideration of government;
- Initiate and advise on government plans.
- Undertake such research as maybe necessary for the effective implementation of government policies.
- Review government policies and plans;
- Coordinate and monitor the implementation of sector policies and strategies
Introduction about the Ministry of Education
The aim of Ministry of education is education for change, peace and progress. Other than that, the aim is to provide a holistic and empowering education system that
enables all children to realise and appreciate fully their inheritance
and potential contributing to peaceful and sustainable national
development. The ministry of education have their own guidance principles. In education, the child is the centre of everything that we do. In all other
services we provide, our customers are of high priority. The delivery of all services is guided
by our commitment to:
1) Recognise the importance of strong and healthy partnerships with all stakeholders;
2) Maintain a high level of professionalism in all that we do;
3) Ensure relevance and responsiveness as required characteristics of all endeavours;

The Ministry of Education is responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of educational legislations, policies and programmes in Fiji We provide the structures, human resources, budget and administrative and management support to ensure that the quality of service delivery is maintained at a high level.
